Elmo Musk became the world's biggest billionaire by scanning and lying about everything.

Others took note and took his example and just make random shit up, say shit that can't be verified or even if it can, doesn't matter. Just make fantastical fanatical unsubstantiated claims, and you will be rich too, bro!
