While I'd prefer the complete abandonment of fossil fuels, on the road to that goal could we not get some cogeneration facility going for gas destined for flaring? A steam turbine for electricity, some town based group home heating, anything really.

That would mean investment and corps won't do that. They want all investment to be done by the gov't, ie: our tax dollars instead.
