Kid Rock's star has sunk so far below the horizon that this move really only hurts him.
I mean I guess it's less money for meth, so maybe it actually helps him.

Kid Rock ruined the re-watch factor of "Joe Dirt" for me. The only music related stuff I've ever seen/heard from him is a cameo in that Nickleback "I Wanna Be A Rockstar" music video. At least I think that was him. Oh no! What are we going to do?! Anyway...
I won't let him deny me the rewatchability of such a classic. His character is now just extra slimy.
New York City should put on an amazing Woodstock style show for that night instead.

I agree with Kid Rock. How could he have time to sing to anyone but his full schedule of fascist supporters?
Kid Rock doesn’t know what a communist is, let alone a democratic socialist, but I’m pretty sure New Yorkers know what a MAGA shit-eater is and are 💯% okay with him not coming to NYC for an entire year.

The real news is that he thought he had enough fans in NY to even do a show here. I don’t think 15 Long Island moms wearing snake skin and drunk off buzzballs is a fan base.
It's amazing how he started out in numetal and now dresses, acts like he contributed to music as much as someone like Bowie, Cash, CCR, etc when in reality he's in the same exact category as Fred Durst.
(kind of) Sorry to talk shit on numetal, just because I am old now.
Assuming there are people in NY that would actually want to go to one of his shows, I would imagine the prospect of actual important parts of their lives getting better would outweigh the desire to watch Kid Rock sing the songs you can already hear on Spotify live.
