Do it again but with Emacs and it's actually half accurate

I expected one (but only one) of the vim's to be an emacs.

[–] Baizey@feddit.dk 4 points 19 hours ago

Or have Vim at the end with an arrow to emacs

Google's cloud IDE

[–] AntiBullyRanger@ani.social 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I honestly don't use either. The punchline is in the alternate text.

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Huh. If either of these images has alt text then I apparently dont know how to see it in Jerboa.

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

I see it in the Emacs one if I click on the image in Voyager, though.

[–] AntiBullyRanger@ani.social 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

🤷‍♀️. I just mouse over/long press.

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Not in Jerboa apparently

Will it also get rid of these pesky stains on my shirt?

[–] eta@feddit.org 12 points 2 days ago

You'll be so productive that you won't notice them, so I guess yeah

[–] A_norny_mousse@feddit.org 14 points 2 days ago

I thought the answer was "there's an Emacs extension for that"

[–] MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca 19 points 2 days ago

Vim on Arch, right?

[–] DahGangalang@infosec.pub 9 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Is there actually a way to do mapping (like google maps) with Vim? Or am I reading too much into the meme?

Yeah, it's simple: In Command mode you press :!google-chrome https://openstreetmap.org/ <Return>.

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 20 points 2 days ago

Nah, the author thinks vim is emacs or something like it.

[–] GreyCat@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

Probably reading into it. A lot of these are impossible or would be hellishly jank. Vim/Neovim is not THAT flexible. At least no one is tring to make it be.
