It's not that I dislike getting in the shower, but that I dislike the part where I have to get out. Then I'm wet, colder, and clothes tend to stick until I'm completely dry. Not to mention having long hair that stays wet and damp for quite a while. It's an annoryance.
You can swap in "go to bed" and "get out of bed" and it's just as valid.

I've got no heat other than a space heater or hot water because of a busted oil tank. I take showers at freezing temperatures at short bursts and they're... Refreshing I guess. But I don't want to stay in them.

Eventually. Stoicism and not fixing things is it's own form of major depression and I'm a pro.
