Technically they are “Christian Nationalist” Crusade-symbolism tattoos, which is apparently inside this country’s overton window now :/

Christian Nationalists are basically white nationalists. White nationalists are US-flavoured Nazis. KKK material.

They should be a fringe group shunned by all society, perhaps given mental help and deprogramming treatment. In this timeline though they are out-and-proud and in positions of power.

This sort of argument makes me feel like I'm surrounded by crazy people. It really feels like absolutely everyone understands, even if they won't admit it, that shit posts cannot be political. They can't have any sort of agenda other than being dumb as fuck. They are a silly source of amusement, and an agenda destroys the concept of a shitpost entirely.

I will gladly piss on 47s grave if I ever get the chance because I absolutely hate the fucker and his entire administration. But there are just SO MANY other comms that something like this can go into. There are comms specifically for political memes, which this clearly is, and this would even fit in just fine in c/memes or a dozen others.

It feels completely disingenuous for people to argue that this qualifies as a shitpost.

Everybody that wants to pretend they don't have a responsibility for the way politics has become thinks the same way.

Were doing this political meme crap because its the reverse of how we all got into this shit situation to begin with, and we shouldn't have allowed everyone to blindly get off into the political wilderness. Were backtracking, that's how you get people out of the wilderness (so to speak)

We especially don't just let the young and inexperienced members of the group wander out there further and further into the shit looking for some path that may get them out or through that might not, and probably does not, exist.

We go back to where we got off this way, or at least close enough that walking through the wilderness isn't the worst idea in the world to get through again.

Were in this together. We need you engaged even though you might not prefer how we are forced to fight the fight you would prefer to hide from. You aren't the only people were here to think of.
