The Trump Administration recently unveiled proposed Endangered Species Act (the Act) rules that severely undermine the Act and make it easier for corporations such as oil, gas, and mining companies to push through environmentally destructive projects. Ultimately, these regulatory changes will have disastrous effects, pushing imperiled wildlife towards extinction.

anyone remember why those acts were put in place?

it's because people started showing up and shooting at the companies that were damaging the environment and ecology. they put sand in their fuel and set fire to their trailers.

I think these companies might be asking for a refresher on why these laws were put in place, and a reminder that it wasn't just for the good of the environment but for their own health and safety as well.
