I can't count the number of times I've asked someone about a bill presented in the house, and I'll be directed to a canned statement on twitter that conflicts with the MP's voting record, as if one cancels out the other.

It's endemic now, it's so frustrating. MPs just being the mouthpiece of the government wasn't new when Trudeau took office, but he did refine it to its maximum.
