Spectrum News NY1's coverage will begin at noon, and the ceremony will start at 1 p.m.

Spectrum News NY1 will allow all viewers free access to watch #ZohranMamdani's inauguration as New York City's next mayor on Thursday, Jan. 1.

#Mamdani will be sworn in by Vermont Sen. #BernieSanders during the public ceremony at City Hall. Opening remarks will be done by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Viewers will also be able to watch for free on Spectrum News NY1’s digital platforms.
