After faltering in his plan to found a new ‘America Party’, the world’s richest person is returning to the GOP fold

In the aftermath of his spectacular falling out with Donald Trump last year, Elon Musk blasted the Republican Party as a corrupt force that was "bankrupting" the United States of America.

But now, after months in the political wilderness, the volatile tech baron has indicated that he will once again devote his enormous fortune to electing GOP politicians, this time ahead of the midterm elections in 2026.

"America is toast if the radical left wins," declared Musk on X Thursday. "They will open the floodgates to illegal immigration and fraud. Won’t be America anymore."

He must have done some really bad things to be trying to avoid investigations this much.

He flat out said that if Trump didn't win that he'd be going to prison for life. He's done some really, really bad stuff.

The amount he will spend will be proportionately far less than the rest of us spend on general insurances. He'll also claim this as a tax deductible. So it gets him further tax savings and keeps him more likely to stay in a position of power and influence. Fuck that. Tax the billionaire class.

Murder the lot. They don't think twice about killing a worker, we shouldn't think twice about killing them. It's self defence really.

Where is this radical left and how can I get some?

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 13 points 2 weeks ago

Musk grifted half a trillion dollars by teaming up with republicans to kneecap the government and steal everything he could in the aftermath. The whole “falling out” was laughably for show, they all got exactly what they wanted. And he’ll do it again, you can bet your ass on that.

"My ass is toast if democracy wins."

-FTFY

Not America, just billionaires

[–] Hayduke@lemmy.world 11 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Sure, because allowing the country to be steered by republicans over the past 40 years has worked out so well for us.

“Radical left”=far right in functional countries just not total Nazis but still Nazi enablers

[–] criss_cross@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Will probably go about as well as his attempt to buy out the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

I really wish people would understand that billionaires don't speak for "America" and that their interests are almost exactly opposed to the interests of regular people. This is the case regardless of where on the political spectrum your beliefs happen to lie.

Felon Musk is looking to get cucked again.

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 weeks ago

"the radical left"

By which he means right wing Democrats like Schumer and Jeffries whose obedience to their owner donors is absolute while their attitudes toward meaningful reform that benefits working class people more than them is the exact same as his own.

[–] nosuchanon@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

fElon will going to need to buy/hack more election machines than last time. I wonder how much that cost, this time he will need more than 7 swing states to turn the tide.

[–] mycodesucks@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

Yes, please do.

Tank what few remaining sales of your garbage cars are left, asshole.

[–] drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

god damn was a sniveling little bitch. All that money and he still has to kneel down to the party that turned on him a few months ago.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 6 points 2 weeks ago

"C'mon Elon. Jump and make an "X" for us. Give us some entertainment while you are fucking the dead corpse of america."
