That's the point. The article is about brands of phone, ie Samsung, one plus, LG. Apple is a brand of phone as well as an operating system

OS is a much more important distinguishing feature than brand. So even if the article is about brand, I am adding my own observation to it pertaining to OS.

Achshually..... Apple is not an OS. That would be IOS.
