Now buy my course about how to get robot legs and crush it in the dating scene. Only €67.69 for the first month.

This is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

Husband hit stage 3 when he was 16, and is still there nearing 40.

I got the fading widow's peak in my early twenties. And it hasn't progressed at all in like twenty years!

i've been in stage 3 vertex for a couple decades. been shaving it off for the last six or seven. is nice.

[–] MeatPilot@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

Yeah I've had a prominent widows peak since my hair grew in. Lot of comments about how I looked like Dracula or Eddie Munster. Got bad enough I tried shaving it in highschool, which honestly looked way way worse.

Morale of the story, men can have different hairlines that are not straight across. Just own it.

To be fair, the guy on the picture is 700 years or older. I want to see you at that age.

[–] Honytawk@feddit.nl 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Wouldn't that mean his value only went up since he is a man (supposedly)?

I would say it didn't, so he himself contradicts his own statement.

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 days ago

He's not a man, he's a mer. Show some respect!

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 14 points 1 week ago

"When riddled with corprus and 700 years old you reach, look as good you will not!"

Yagrum Bagarn, the only living Dwemer to appear in an Elder Scrolls game so far.

[–] Derpenheim@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 week ago (5 children)

Also the last living Dwemer. Motherfucker was in a different dimension when the Dwemer vanished

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 week ago (7 children)

Last living one we know of, at least.

These are actual teenage boys now though. Gen Alpha is so fucked.

[–] sparkles@piefed.zip 6 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I do hope many of them develop and grow up away from it. Otherwise I guess they’ll have to be lonely.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

It can be a bit of a vicious circle. Here's my opinion on the matter and what I think the hardest parts are.

Incels don't exactly attract women - and I mean even as friends, not just partners. But the best way for an incel to stop being an incel is to... Have female friends he can connect with.

We can't force women to be friends with men who hate women, that would be... yeah, something. Best we can do is what we're already doing: mixed gender classes in kindergarten and school, hoping that most kids will end up with a diverse set of friends. And at the very least, fewer boys grow up to be men for whom women are some sort of alien creatures or something.

But there will always be some who are less social than others and are then more likely to fall into the influence of the manosphere . And I don't know what could be done to prevent that or help these people, because the desire to be helped at that point, needs to come from within. Can lead a horse to water, but not force it to drink and all that.

Media exposure is really difficult to combat. I have behaviors remediated, then a few days of exposure due to parental neglect, and its back to being called slurs and being SA’d by a five year old. Building a case based on these things to help just one person….but there are so many growing up on media that is too mature, without context or collaboration from instructors….they are being filled with awful opinions they just uncritically accept as universally true. I know it going to get worse before it gets better. I know it took me so much work to get my on to explain his every opinion with supporting details, to make him stop parroting. And that was limited exposure from school and other boys.

[–] Darohan@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 week ago

Honestly, there is hope for that. I feel like we're all forgetting the anti-SJW YouTube pipeline that happened to Gen Z when they were around 16 (around 8-12 years ago now) and a lot of them grew out of that.

[–] zd9@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Think about what kind of politics these boys will have when they grow up though... It's going to be even more authoritarian, anti-woman, etc.

[–] Honytawk@feddit.nl 1 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Eh, it is part of natural selection. What self respected women will want to procreate with them?

Incels don't worry me long term.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 1 points 5 days ago

What self respected women will want to procreate with them?

Plenty of women haters have wives and children tbh. A lot of people just don't have any self respect, or have some other agenda.

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 days ago

Here's the thing there are plenty of people with no self respect or too much self respect and delusional so it's a moot point.

[–] some_kind_of_guy@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

Equal and opposite forces are a thing in culture. I think we'll see it rejected even harder.

When they receive the ability to vote at 18, is what I mean.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 1 points 6 days ago

They aren't growing up...alive.

[–] realitaetsverlust@piefed.zip 2 points 1 week ago

Yeah but the good thing is that the gen after is probably not going to be equally retarded.

[–] ArmoredThirteen@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 week ago
