Looks like you're hosting a mostly static frontend there. Could be hosting that for free in a number of places, and then you'd have no problem.

They start off by saying their PieFed instance was down.
Hosting the site from home may be an option if symmetric fiber is available and the site doesn't get a huge amount of traffic.
But when I die then someone will just throw away the computer when they clean out the flat/house ^^.
How will your server bill be paid if/when you die?
That is the question I ask at the end. If I could pre-pay for 10 years I'd probably do it.
A simple low traffic website doesn’t even need anything close to symmetric fiber. Your run-of-the-mill shitty cable internet usually gives you 15-30mbps. Thats more than enough unless your site is really popping off.
Is this supposed to look like this? The thin font with purple color makes it hard to read. All usercss off.

Yeah, hmm but if it's not very accessible then I should rethink the font. I'll think about it and do some tests tomorrow. I myself use the dark theme mostly.
