Wow those old I’m a pc / im a Mac commercials. This brings me back to like 2010?
The funniest thing though were the spoofs on YouTube. I remember one that was like Java vs Ruby.

I love those commercials for making John Hodgman more well-known. The man is hilarious.

I haven't talked to jay since before 2015. But sadly he was rabidly Republican. To the point I doubt it's changed. I still see him log in to SL sometimes. But never had the morbid curiosity to ask.
