Sadly, all the education in the world can't expunge bigotry and racism from most people
But it will make them more resistant to it. It will make them mindful. It will make them resistant to bullshit and finally, good citizens.

I had a relative spouting off on Facebook about how Kirk's death was [somehow] the fault of "liberal universities".
I wasn't involved in this "conversation" because I don't use Facebook and I try to avoid talking to idiots. But I was told that when questioned, they could not explain which universities are the "liberal" ones, which ones offer courses on how to perform assassinations as part of their curriculum, why the US isn't just running rampatant with would be assassins, or how they managed to arrive at their fucking stupid conclusion.
