Hernandez-Flores told KTVU that the shooting was spurred by a night of heavy drinking and the recent discovery that a relative had accused his father of sexual abuse.

Hernandez-Flores was reportedly honorably discharged from the Marines after four and a half years of service. He was in the process of joining the San Francisco Police Department to become a SWAT sniper.

Of course this guy was about to become a cop. Blacked out drunk is his defense.

But the most stand out part is his relative accusing his dad of child molestation. Wonder if he was a victim of that.
