Totally situation dependent. For someone slightly over the line in a parking lot, uncalled for. For someone blocking my driveway or in a hypothetical parking spot I pay money for, finding a free condom and not a tow notice is pretty polite.

Granted. What about completely taking two spots in a busy supermarket lot with some big ass POS ? Parking sideways in same using four ? (somewhere between, depending on the day, is my personal threshold for this).

I would never leave any clues like that which could be used to lead police to the person who cut their brake lines.

I got a note like this once (minus the condom). When I had parked in the morning, there was an inch of snow on the ground so I could only park a reasonable distance from the person beside me. By afternoon, the snow had melted and the lines were visible. Sometimes people are just looking for a reason to be mad.

You know this condom is safe to use and hasn’t been tampered with

[–] MalReynolds@slrpnk.net 3 points 5 months ago

Hmm, how do you get itching powder (or worse) into a condom?

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 7 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Better: leave a note so sorry for hitting their car, leave a number with most numerals illegible.

They will walk around it forever trying to see the damage.

For mild evil, write down the number of someone you don't like

Maybe if my handwriting was that nice I would feel less embarrassed to leave petty insult letters

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 4 points 5 months ago (3 children)

This handwriting is nice ?

[–] RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 5 points 5 months ago

Yes? It's quite nice.

[–] chicken@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 5 months ago

Yeah I like it

[–] TehBamski@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago (1 children)

You can tell that it's nice handwriting because of the smiley face. /j

[–] RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago

Well, yes. And it has nice proportions which kind of lends itself to the smiley face. If it were a font, I'd call it a little whimsical.

I get mine printed as business cards.

[–] Confused_Emus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 5 months ago (1 children)

My roommate got one left on his windshield that was printed to look like a folded $50 bill on one side, and then said, "You park like an asshole," when you flipped it over. To be fair to the person who left it, my roommate totally did park like an asshole that day, so I thought it was hilarious.

[–] Postmortal_Pop@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago

Oh that's amazing!

[–] saltesc@lemmy.world 6 points 5 months ago

I have left a sketched map to the disabled parks.

[–] Goatboy@lemmy.today 4 points 5 months ago

Free condom and I ruined a petty asshole's day? Score!

[–] Zacryon@feddit.org 3 points 5 months ago

The sad thing is: you can pass shit on to others without being releated to them.

Things either get me mad enough that I lose my composure or not nearly enough for me to do anything. Bad parking I don't care much but other things will push me into breaking shit, I just can't think of anything right now. 🤷

[–] texture@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

well, how bad did you park?

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 1 points 5 months ago

If it's winter I'd stick it on with chewed bubblegum.

[–] ShieldsUp@startrek.website -4 points 5 months ago (3 children)

Its stupid and petty. By calling out an asshole this way you show yourself as also being an asshole. Resorting to passive aggressive name calling and insults from mild inconvenience is not a good look.

[–] Grumpy@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 months ago (2 children)

This isn't passive aggressive. Very much active insult.

[–] ShieldsUp@startrek.website 3 points 5 months ago

Leaving a note and running away is passive. I see what you mean, but disagree.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 months ago

I used to leave a flyer for a driving school that specialized in parking between two obvious parallel lines on asphalt.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 months ago

The reason why these assholes park this way is because no one calls them out.
