It's not hard to explain why, carney is actually quite concervative and simply runing the lib party cuz it failed so spectacularly at governing he's in charge of them now, he likely doesn't care for Iran's leadership, the people specifically asked for it even if some loons liked the regime, wants Donald and the US military focused on someone else other then Canada, our oil will take some more market share, ect. Ect

Harper wanted high home values? Why did rents fall relative to income under him then, and why were immigration levels the same as every PM before him?

As far as deficits it seemed like Harper had a plan to a balanced budget, and he was undergoing keynesian economics during the GFC, as a trained keynesian economist. Am I wrong?
