What did chuck do? I mean obviously he was a pedophile right? He got that loon. I don't even know who he is.
He was a hard right evangelical, with all the hateful trimmings that come with it, and he was active with his hate.

Chuck Norris was a dickhead. And likely a racist.
However making jokes that are in the style of the old Chuck Norris jokes is funny.
But of course since he was a dickbag people on social media think you shouldn't talk about him at all, making jokes or otherwise. Even if you mention he was a dickbag.
Kind of reminds me of the way children act.
He wrote columns for a far-right website, was a Reagan "fan", wanted to ban same-sex marriage, disliked criticism of Jehovah's Witnesses' practices and shaved it off as "but but look at black people!", was a conspiracy nut on Obama's citizenship, spread "intelligent design" desinformation, supported Israel and Netanyahu the Genocider, and signed a weapon deal with Glock when school shootings happened recently. Oh and not that it matters imo, but he cheated on his wife.
Basically, he was an asshat.
And yet the jokes are funny.
Seriously, I grew up with Chuck Norris jokes but only looked up who that was when I was around 15. Then I knew he was an actor who played in movies I’ve never seen (and still haven’t seen).
Personally, I don’t think it’s wrong to joke about the larger-than-life figure he’s become. At least in my small bubble of people that’s all he is. The jokes could just as well revolve around John Doe, only then they wouldn’t work.
To be fair, I liked the jokes too. I found it rather sad that he decided to spend his life backing heinous movements instead.
