Yes, many Americans do understand this. But many others do not, and those are the ones in charge now. We don’t want them to be in charge but there’s not much we can do about that at the moment.

Then why the fuck do you argue against raising taxes on corporations? Why do tax breaks mean "more jobs, more growth" but somehow a literal tax on corporations in the form of tarrifs don't affect the economy?

I just saw an article on fox business about Arizona Tea raising their prices due to aluminum tariffs, filled with comments calling the company "liberal puppets", claiming they are price gouging and calling for the government to start regulating the prices for everything.
Maga are fully prepared to say every company is anti-trump and raising prices to spite great leader. Gonna be a wild ride.
