Nova is absolute fucking trash these days. I opened my kids tablet the other day and my instant reaction was "what the fuck is with all these dodgy apps and ads on the home screen and in the app drawer?!" I soon realised I had installed Nova to get away from the Samsung interface. Samsung's ui sucks but holy hell it's better than Nova these days.
No it can't. I stopped allowing updates ages ago. :D
I did that for a year. I recently moved to Niagara. I like it. Considering Pro, but don't even think I need it.
I'll move eventually. It'll just probably be when I get a new phone.
Just checked mine and apparently I got a version as old as my phone. I don't even have an option for updates
I finally moved to Octopi Launcher a few days ago. I used Nova Prime for so many years. But the AI stuff - I'm done. I tried Octopi before but it didn't work out since some settings didn't translate well. This time I was able to replicate most of my settings I enjoyed from Nova. I appreciate there being a viable alternative launcher for my needs now, so I also bought Pro to support them. 👍

I already have the launcher asking me to activate it. I attempted to download an older APK without the AI-shit but for some reason I can't install it. Downloaded the Octopi Launcher and will be doing the switch in the following week.
Fuck Nova.
