[–] testaccount789@sh.itjust.works 35 points 5 days ago (1 children)

...you may want to visit the ER.

[–] Aurenkin@sh.itjust.works 15 points 5 days ago

That's where I got them

[–] stupidcasey@lemmy.world 12 points 5 days ago

I want you to put a rod in my hole

...

So paper towels?

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago

I can do three towels, but then I have to do laundry. And I just did it, so I'd have to wait and honestly it's....

I'll see if I have some paper towels.

Is this a reference to one of the finest Sonic the Hedgehog memes around? https://youtu.be/slIxAWwg1vY

Am I the only one who never felt that Deanna Troi was particularly attractive? I mean, she's okay (enough that it doesn't detract from other traits), but not above average. Yet she's often presented as if she's supposed to be eye candy for the show.

[–] BangelaQuirkel@lemmy.world 42 points 6 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

She may not be your type but I’d wager she’s easy on the eyes for most

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 48 points 6 days ago

Also how they styled her hair and clothing was very much an 80s-hot look.

This feels like it's supposed to be a dig on Star Wars if it weren't for the fact that it's got both Carrie Fisher and Natalie Portman.

[–] Zink@programming.dev 12 points 5 days ago

She's not my type either, but I always thought she was super attractive.

[–] TachyonTele@piefed.social 9 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I agree. She's obviously attractive, but just not my type at all.

I doubt either of us would say no if she walked up to us though.

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 23 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I mean any decent person would give her all the towels she needs.

[–] TachyonTele@piefed.social 7 points 5 days ago

It'd be a shame if we ran out of towels...

as would i and i'm no decent person

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 8 points 5 days ago

She's got that "the girl next door" vibe. She's not sultry and seductive looking, but very beautiful in an innocent way.

[–] Clanket@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

Deanna Troi was hot af when I was a kid

[–] thethrilloftime69@feddit.online 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

She's definitely well above average. Have you walked around like anywhere in America lately?

[–] tias@discuss.tchncs.de 0 points 5 days ago

Well, the U.S. definitely weighs down the average (pun intended), but it's only 4% of the world's population.

[–] BoxOfFeet@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago

I always thought B'Etor was pretty hot.

[–] nonentity@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 days ago

Three seashells.

[–] Ceruleum@lemmy.wtf 4 points 5 days ago (1 children)

A true gentleman, showing her the Riker maneuver.

[–] ikidd@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

RIker? I barely knew her!
