Yeah, as a little kid I hated seeing this on TV, it felt really creepy and disgusting. I still don't like it :-(
What's the problem? That's just me from morning to lunch.... and until evening and bed.
Because they didn't think that and it wasn't.
That was never on Saturday morning cartoons. The Denise if the Saturday morning occurred by the beginning of the 90s. Ren and Stimpy was after and on Nickelodeon. Saturday morning cartoons was on the big 3.
People are way to fragile today I feel. When I was a kid, I watched this with my parents. It was perfectly fine then and it should be now.
A motivator for why people are confused was because of the adult version that came later.
Try some good old German tales like "struwwelpeter". Was fun growing up ^^
