Need guerilla construction to build seating and canopies at bus stops in LA. The Sun is a deadly laser.
LA has the money. How much fraud and waste are people overlooking? Could have funded a thousand sets of covered seating easily. Fix fraud with direct action, don't wait on the system that benefits from it.

Like most social issues, assholes with more money than empathy (e.g. NIMBYs) prevent these things from being erected.
Even if the state digs the well for you, they’ll come along one day and fill it in because they changed their mind.
Reform is temporary, it is never the solution.
What would you call forcing the powers that be to dig the well and then drowning them in it?
