Does that disqualify someone? No.

Would I be interested? Also no.

[–] Fleur_@aussie.zone 59 points 2 months ago (1 children)

For me it sure does. Fuck ass people insisting that it's not okay to disqualify people from your dating pool is stupid

[–] RickyRigatoni@piefed.zip 64 points 2 months ago (5 children)

Everybody's always saying you can deny a relationship with anyone for any reason until it's a reason they personally don't agree with.

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 19 points 2 months ago

I mean, any reason for not wanting a relationship is a good reason because a relationship where one person doesn't even really want it is going to be a shit relationship.

That said, I might still judge you if your reasons are shitty.

Why would I care about someone else not dating someone. That's insane behaviour

The idea that vaginas stretch out is kinda debunked.

Now assholes on the other hand...

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 45 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I’m not disagreeing with the point of your statement, but I do want to clarify that vaginas absolutely stretch, just not permanently. You’ll have a very different experience if you work up to fisting over a couple of hours vs. launching right into it, because vaginas loosen with arousal.

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 41 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The important thing is that they are elastic - they don't stay stretched. They're not like sweaters that stay stretched out forever after someone large wears them, more like rubber bands that stretch temporarily before returning to their typical size. I think that's why OP used the term "stretch out," as too many people seem to think once a vagina stretches, it's a permanent change. It's such a weird misconception.

Giving birth stretches a vagina more than any penis (or fist) ever could. Though birth can make some changes that last, it's more like "Now I need a larger size menstrual cup" than "Now penises just slide back out," as the popular belief would have people believe.

Logistically questionable, but if true than who gives a shit?

[–] trxxruraxvr@lemmy.world 58 points 2 months ago (3 children)

According to Wikipedia it's true, and as a world record attempt a notary must have been present to count the men. There's another job I don't envy.

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 9 points 2 months ago (5 children)

I don't get the point of notaries. Anyone could be a notary – you just have to pinky promise that you saw something happen under oath

[–] ChexMax@lemmy.world 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yeah I mean you pay money and take a little course to become a notary and you have to reup every year (or three years? I can't remember). The point is you take on legal liability. A notary cannot claim, "i didn't realize, I didn't know, I didn't double check." Most of the money you pay is in liability insurance in case you screw up. Because if a notary stamps their name to something false, they bear the legal liability which is enough for a notary to not take the risk of flippantly stamping things that are untrue.

You can also legally marry people.

There are also legal limits to how much you can charge (like 10 bucks and document or something. It's not much). Since each stamp doesn't earn much, but the liability could cost you a lot, it keeps notaries pretty honest. It's a decent system.

Mostly only nerds are notaries anyway, so the promising and putting your name to something does some of the heavy lifting by itself

Did they count each guy's pumps? How many are required for it to count as intercourse

People just love to be offended by something a random stranger did 10'000 km away.

It's still hard to gauge the stereotypical Lemmy user yet

[–] EtnaAtsume@lemmy.world 106 points 2 months ago (14 children)

Neurodivergent middle-aged Linux using anti-AI nostalgiagoggle-wearing very online privacy enthusiast with some degree of fixation on tech, be that privately (their hobby) or professionally (their job).

[–] HerbalGamer@sh.itjust.works 22 points 2 months ago

Don't forget leftist but somehow not communist

[–] CarstenBoll@feddit.dk 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Excuse me, but I am not neurodivergent! At least not to my knowledge.....

[–] Silic0n_Alph4@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago (4 children)

Ok, we might have some news for you then…

Depends on the instance:

  • LW/FHF users: Basically Redditors but mildly more elitist and significantly more male dominated
  • Feddit.de users: Like the previous one except german
  • DB0/FAF users: Nerdy, queer, and very leftist, also somewhat generally pro-ai (I may be biased here)
  • Blahaj users: Very lesbian, very trans, many catgirls, lots of Linux users :3
  • ML/Hex/etc users: Very leftist, very aggressive when approached with nonsense, gets into arguments with people whos minds will never be changed
[–] db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I would characterize us as more critically pro-ai, or maybe even just not-against-ai

you're an incentive if you care about bodycount

Maybe, but I do care about orders of magnitude in bodycount. Being in the low single digits myself I definitely prefer partners that do not have a bodycount three orders of magnitude higher.

i'm more concerned about how many guys were lining up

Maybe after the first 10 it should direct the queue into a room with a therapist to work out whatever problems they've got

"Hey buddy, we'll pay you $100 if you take an STD test and then raw dog this pornstar for eight seconds. You in?"
