This really isn't news. Hoekstra being absolutely daft has been known for years.
Durr, we're talking about annexing your country, supporting/amplifying Alberta separatism, committing international war crimes and boasting about those war crimes at our state of the union, electing criminals and covering up for pedophiles, dismantling social programs to benefit billionaire tech oligarchs, misusing our access to data for our AI authoritarian techno fascism, shooting civilians in blue-states using a gestapo-like paramilitary force, imprisoning/randomly deporting people without due process, imposing tariffs based on the bowel movements/whims of a diapered orange dictator -- tariffs that change wildly based on totally bullshit reasons like claiming Canada's flooding us with Fent even though there's no data to support such claims, threatening to annex parts of allied countries like Greenland, strongly implying we won't honour our defense agreements to NATO, flagrantly meddling in other countries politics to try and get Russian puppets like Orban elected, allowing Trump - a guy who tried to overthrow the govt once already - back in office with freedom to be openly corrupt and pilfer billions from the public purse, supporting Russia while undermining Ukraine, openly/publicly insulting most western democracies while sucking up to dictators like Putin and Xi, enacting one of the most inhumane and unjustified blockades of Cuba, defunding/abandoning international programs and systems that we helped create, leading to incredible amounts of unnecessary and unjustified human suffering both internationally and domestically.
