Trump, 79, admitted to Fox News on Tuesday that he feels he is “at the bottom of the totem pole” regarding his odds of making it to the promised land, leading many to ponder: Why is the president suddenly so hell-bent on making it to the pearly gates?

He is afraid of dying because he well knows there is a special place in hell for him. Right next to Reagan and Thatcher.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome

Reagan and Haig

Mr. Begin and friend

Mrs. Thatcher

And Paisley "Hello Maggie!"

Mr. Brezhnev and party "Scusi dov'è il bar?"

And the memories of Nixon

And now, adding colour "Who's the bald chap?"

Eh, Ol' Bone Spurs ain't making it to Valhalla either

These evil people deserve a fate worse than hell. Religion is only there to keep us common folk in line. If the god existed that Christian’s fear then these hypocrites would already be doomed. All this does is become an escape goat to put one actions and excuses into something that can’t be held accountable.

I don't believe in a Christian afterlife (and the jury's out on any at all), but I really want there to be one so these sick fucks can have all the pain and suffering they've caused rubbed into their faces.

Arguably, this is the entire appeal of the hellfire doctrine. It's not really in the Bible at all--there are scriptures you can kinda interpret that way, but you can kinda interpret another way, too. It's bolted onto Christianity and repeated from the pulpit so often that the pews don't notice that it isn't really there.

“I just want to end it,” Trump said of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Never have I been so disappointed in the second half of a sentence

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 64 points 17 hours ago (3 children)

I hope this man never has a moment of peace for the rest of his miserable life.

[–] Jolly_Platypus@lemmy.world 9 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

His niece says he's miserable all the time.

[–] makyo@lemmy.world 15 points 16 hours ago

I'm fairly comfortable that he isn't ever able to find peace. What fleeting moments of satisfaction he finds are shoveled into the bottomless pit of his narcissism and forgotten in his sad, insatiable need for more.

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 16 points 17 hours ago

Or after... if there is one.

There was apparently a time when Trump knew how to put his tie at the correct level.

Also, Trump is in the Epstein Files.

[–] ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 10 hours ago

Is that a suit jacket with denim pants and denim shirt? He must have been high as balls when he got dressed.

[–] MisterNeon@lemmy.world 99 points 19 hours ago (3 children)

Trump took my job in April. Trump placed tariffs so the economy is crashing. Trump fired the lady that was reporting on new job creation. The metrics that track the chances of me getting a new job are falsified.

I hope he dies. I hope he dies alone and is scared in the end. I hope he dies before I become homeless. Damn him until the seas dry and the land ashens. Damn him until time itself shatters.

[–] iamdefinitelyoverthirteen@lemmy.world 4 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

I hope he dies in terror while surrounded by brown and black people.

[–] Soup@lemmy.world 1 points 6 minutes ago

Personally I’ve been wishing for car fires that they can’t escape from and, if they’re in a Tesla, there might be a chance of that.

[–] MisterNeon@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Me less so. I feel like those people would be scapegoated.

[–] DoGeeseSeeGod@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Those last two lines are fire my friend. Good luck on the job search

[–] MisterNeon@lemmy.world 8 points 15 hours ago

Thanks, I need it.

A malignant narcissist, rapist, molester, pedophile, repeat adulterer, pathological liar, who's primary personality traits include gloating, overt cruelty and hatred getting into any version of heaven? Add in the estimated 1.5 million Americans who unnecessarily lost their lives due to Trump's deliberate politicizing of a pandemic and I think he's going to hell in a hand basket.

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 4 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago)

A malignant narcissist, a rapist, a molester, a pedophile, a felon, a repeat adulterer and a pathological liar walk up to the pearly gates and Saint Peter says “Other way, Donald.”

[–] criss_cross@lemmy.world 13 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

And the estimated 300K deaths from gutting US AID overnight.

“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” - George Carlin

[–] BetaBlake@lemmy.world 33 points 17 hours ago

I hope his final days are spent in terror, just panicking confusing terror

[–] pinheadednightmare@lemmy.world 12 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I mean, if you’re feeling like doing good things to try to buy your way to heaven, I know there is a shit ton of student loans that could be forgiven… just sayin

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 9 hours ago

You're in luck, they're willing to do that but only if you join ICE.

[–] wirebeads@lemmy.ca 63 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Has Trump released those Epstein pedo files where is name is littered throughout yet?

#curious

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 15 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

They're scrubba dub dubbing as we speak. They say they're releasing them this friday.

If he wants to maximize his chances of seeing Heaven, he should start working towards that now. I would suggest he gives away all his wealth, resigns from any position of power, publicly apologizes for his past misdeeds, and retreats to spend the rest of his days living as a monk in a remote monastery, preferably one where all the brothers take a vow of silence.

[–] matlag@sh.itjust.works 11 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah, he's more likely to decide he was chosen by God for a mission, botch it while claiming a tremendous success, and declare he has a guaranteed spot at the right of God, if not as his successor.

All of these overrich believers will stretch their beliefs with no limit until they encompass their whole life and actions. They're "chosen".

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 4 points 14 hours ago

Pretty much this, when people with his level of narcissism 'find god' it's always with a self-affirmation bent, that God must want whatever he wants, because he is the best and obviously whatever he wants is, by definition, right.

If anything, a person might conclude they've been too lenient somehow and they need to double down on "their vision" before it's too late.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 17 points 17 hours ago

I hope it's cause he's dying

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 39 points 20 hours ago (4 children)

Release the Trump/Epstein files

Are we sure those are “concerns” and not “hopes”?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 15 points 17 hours ago

In addition to the Trumpstein files being released, I think Taco Camacho's health records need to be released, if he's had any doctor visits with a real doctor and not just some "central casting" version of that.

Same goes for his school records, while we are at it. :)

[–] newthrowaway20@lemmy.world 37 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

It's easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than it will be for him and his ilk to get into heaven.

If I believed in heaven, I'd probably take more solace in that. But I would much prefer we enact justice while he's living, even if only as an example to others who'd wish to follow in his footsteps.

[–] stinerman@midwest.social 8 points 16 hours ago

If Trump could get into heaven, then I want nothing to do with it.
