Trump, 79, admitted to Fox News on Tuesday that he feels he is “at the bottom of the totem pole” regarding his odds of making it to the promised land, leading many to ponder: Why is the president suddenly so hell-bent on making it to the pearly gates?

Hope it’s nothing trivial.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 10 points 20 hours ago

Most likely he's just fishing for some sympathy.

May justice be done, without fear or favor.

Old people start talking nonchalantly about death when they feeling their mortality waning. Hoping Trump's a late to recognize that feeling.

Of course Trump wouldn't know that the lowest spot on the totem pole was the most honored.

[–] o0evillusion0o@sh.itjust.works 1 points 16 hours ago

He meant Putin Pole.

Boy it sure would be scary if there was some part of the Bible that told you that how you treated the least amongst us, the hungry, the immigrant, the homeless, was how you treated god.

I’m sure trump has nothing to worry about, he’s always been real nice to the vulnerable among us right?

Matthew 25:40-45 New International Version

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

If only he or any politician actually cared about the Bible

Only health concern I have for him is that he's still alive.

The orange diseased carcass of a human:

If you play stairway to heaven forwards, it contains a secret plan for getting to heaven for rich people.

[–] WindyRebel@lemmy.world 7 points 18 hours ago

He’s just fucking saying this to get in good graces with the Christian idiots to make himself look like he’s more repentant than he is. It’s all to win back hearts because of Epstein being pervasive.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

St. Peter will deny the loser entry with a single finger salute and point him towards his buddy Epstein.

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 8 points 20 hours ago

If Satan were real, he'd make a gold-painted express lane just for him.

[–] salacious_coaster@infosec.pub 7 points 20 hours ago

I'm sure he's probably trolling again. But I do enjoy the thought of him having a small glimpse of clarity about what a piece of shit he's been his whole life. Full clarity from a narcissist like that would be too much to ask. If he ever saw himself clearly for even a second, he would never stop throwing up.

[–] QuantumTickle@lemmy.zip 4 points 18 hours ago

I wish he'd seek forgiveness and make amends while he was still alive. You know... Because there is no god.

Are you there God? It's me, Margaret. You wanna do the funniest thing ever?

But nah. He probably just got reminded that he wasn't made the new pope and is now angry that christianity hates him and wants his evangelical base to stroke his... ego.

[–] Nico_198X@europe.pub 5 points 19 hours ago

uh, then how about you repent and do something GOOD with the PHENOMENAL POWER you've been UNJUSTLY GIVEN?!?!?!

[–] nullPointer@programming.dev 5 points 20 hours ago

another news outlet falls for and prints another distraction.

His existence is already proof of a sinister creator or lack thereof. If there were a heaven, they would not let one of the worst human beings alive this millennium.

At least the knows

[–] BrokenGlepnir@lemmy.world 3 points 19 hours ago

Who didn't treat the sorjourner as their own?

For a male at age 79 it’s easy to wake up one day - dead.
