Na, this person just needs to fix the color on his TV. Absolutely insane magenta levels

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 11 points 3 weeks ago

You're right, this TV makes even the black guy pink

[–] wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Yeah, that looks like the terribly burnt in nearly decade old screens at my local bar. I don't know how anyone could possibly stand that as a main screen in their own home.

Finances are usually why people end up living with it instead of replacing

[–] CheetahHybrid@pawb.social 6 points 3 weeks ago

Ya, it's fine to have old equipment, but the TV has settings in it that will let you correct for some of the issue. Modern TV's like this LG offer comprehensive color correction for situations like this

We have a 20+ year old TV. It's fine. Do many people just keep it in the sun or is plasma popular again?

[–] NoForwadSlashS@piefed.social 22 points 3 weeks ago

It'll be fine, I'll be sat behind a desk or only my top half will be in frame.

I had the same thought while watching Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Looked like she really enjoyed a breeze in her nether region

I never realized that the title was a double entendre, before!

Have you tried free ballin on live TV? That's how you become a baller

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 8 points 3 weeks ago

Even if it didn't look skin toned, that's an ugly mismatch!

Do you guys still have nightmares about going to class without your pants on (or being totally unaware about an exam/project due) decades after you've graduated?

Also, I caught myself from typing "dreams" before I fixed it to "nightmares." The former would have gotten me reported.

Glanced and thought that was Carragher for a second

Slightly disappointed I can't rinse my scouse mates for it

It'd be really funny if it were an even pasty whiter shade 😎.

Or else the identical shade as the guy next to him! 😂

[–] ToastedRavioli@midwest.social 2 points 3 weeks ago

If it was the same shade as the guy next to him it would actually be a pretty solid fit

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 3 points 3 weeks ago

This happens to me in dreams. I only notice 2 hours in

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Nahhh better ratings this way

It's a country full of people who got tilted because a black man was wearing a tan suit.

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I think full might be an overstatement. He was voted in by the majority, twice. Has Europe, Canada, or Australia had black anyone run their countries?

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Europe is not a country...?

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 weeks ago

I know, lol. It makes it even worse because it's a huge block of countries that haven't had a black leader.
