It's a good thing I don't use any of those. Although I'm sure something will come along that will get around those fixes. Something always does.
Zen and Vivaldi for me is the combo.
Zen still works beautifully. The only downside I've come across is that there isn't a mobile app, so the ability to hand off isn't there.
In the past, origin has just changed to work again. Is that out of the question now?
The problem is the core of how Origin works. Right now, Origin sits in the stream of data that comes in from a website, and uses its own filtering to block or change things that are unwanted. That mechanism was removed in Manifest V3. Now it has to supply to the browser a list of things to block or change, and there's a limit to how many things can be on that list.
There's a new version of uBlock that works with Manifest V3 but it doesn't work as well as the V2 version.

Google realized how much money they were losing by supporting adblock in the first place. They also had way too many extensions with MV2 that requested full site access...
At the end of the day, they want to force feed everyone advertisements. Often meant to make people angry or buy shit they don't need.
It's also why apps like NewPipe are in an arms race with the recent sideloading app changes for Android.

In other words, it won’t affect me or most of the people who use uBlock.
Yeah and most websites are barely functional with all the ad insertion bullshit. Weather.com is practically useless without an ad blocker.
