Fuck AI

"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Deloitte was caught doing this last year with the Australian government, amazing to see that a year later and AI still exposes the rent seeking behaviour of these large consulting firms

The fine to deloitte was laughably small, they'll keep doing it and the fines will be part of cost of doing business

I can see “vibe citing” is a term now. Let me guess, vibe everything is going to become a widespread term in the near future.

Tbh, that is a match made in heaven. These corporate advice firms have always been like 96 % about spewing bullshit. Now they can spew bullshit without paying business school graduates - of course they're gonna do it.

If there is one job that's perfectly suited for AI replacement it's this one.

The group they're citing are a scam company. I checked out a few of their tools and it was like a coin flip in terms of accuracy. But yeah KPMG has been caught submitting AI reports to at least two governments.
