Ain't it ironic that technology failed mostly because humans are still cheaper option for the same work?

No shit! Let that sink in, I'm waiting. If the world don't want to learn from it's mistakes, let it burn.

I have one word for that: GOOD!

[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

"He he hee ha haw ha haaa haaaa heh haa ha ha ha hee haa haaaa haaaaw...!" says I.

it's bad, it means miserable, depressing.

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@piefed.social 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Exactly, so why are they describing this as grim?

[–] BeN9o@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Ohhhh hah yeah this is only 'grim' for them! I assumed you didn't understand the word 🤦‍♂️ my bad!

Cool! I might just be on time to get out of my payment plans before the market crashes and interest goes up!

US govt would step in if true

[–] moustachio@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago (6 children)

Why would they step in?

They have barely talked about stakes in AI companies to this point. It’s nothing like banking and housing market that were actually useful, and impacted people’s lives, unlike AI. LLMs are just an aggregate of stolen work that they sell back to gullible C level execs.
