Now, to the matter at hand. systemd is great. I only moved away from it because being handed all the automation on a silver platter was hampering my Linux learning. Everything had preconfigured .service files and [...]ctl commands.
Not everything. Some times you have to write your own .service files.
Then for a special kind of pain, learn how those file contents affect apparmor.
