The problem is that Flock Safety CEO Garrett Langley is beyond the reach of public justice. He and his company are committing grievous wrongdoing against the people of the United States, and yet there is no judicial or civil recourse.
And while he remains free, he continues to commit further injustices including providing a service that enables predators and doesn't actually prevent or solve crime. (None that they were able to demonstrate by studies, and instead lied about what their studies said.)
So while I can't endorse the methods a plumber's brother might take, I can certainly understand them.
And doxxing doesn't even rise to that occasion.
I'm not going to criticize doxing this guy any more than I would other evil fucks, such as Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk or Peter Thiel, all of whom wish us harm and have great power to do so.
Now, to be clear, doxxing someone is completely indefensible and dangerous because it puts real people in physical danger.
Fuck that. This guy deserves to be doxed and deserves every potential outcome of being doxed.
To be guillotined would be more mercy than he is owed.

They're paperclip optimizers. We've designed an economy that said "make people compete for dollars, it'll give us the best products" and sure enough the people who rise to the top do nothing but ruthlessly compete on getting dollars. And just like the thought experiment, in the race to gather more dollars, they trample the human race.
Parasites. Scrape them off, crush them with your boot. They require no more consideration than that.
Nah. They are human. To deny that is to deny that which makes a person stoop so low as to become a CEO (rhyme initially not intended but damnit I'll still take credit for it)
Plus, I respect rats too much to demean them like that

If you dehumanize persons, you aren't a leftist or revolutionary or the resistance or an activist. You are a fascist.
Ok, I see your point but in a fascist society, what else can you do to stop him? Harsh language? A lawsuit you can't afford?
Oh, violence, even lethal violence might be necessary in defense of self or others. But, we must not deny that we are dealing with persons. I'm not even saying don't dox the guy, I'm saying that don't forget that you are doxing a person.
The focus should be on rehabilitating the person and remediating any harm they have caused, not on returning harm with harm. Of course, if they are being violent or legitimately threatening violence, defensive violence SHOULD be taken to contain/control/remove the threat.
Violating his privacy might be a good lesson in how "we should balance privacy and safety" as part of his rehabilitation, but we can do that without dehumanization.

We should probably just have his computer searched on basic principles, since these guys always turn out to be paedophiles. Always, like literally every single time.
makes sense, they are passing a lot of child protection laws to protect children that infringe on privacy of computer users. He's probably making that AI CSPAN or whatever it is.
Oh no! This guy is in danger! We should set up a ton of security cameras around his house so we can all keep an eye on him and make sure he's safe!

Hmmmm. Putting nazis in physical danger is very defensible i think.
I just like the idea that knowing where he lives in some way puts him in more danger than he already was before. Anyone who really wanted him dead would already has this information.
So basically him being docxed is just about telling everyone where he lives. He doesn't want that because it'll result in protesters turning up on his lawn but his life is not in any more danger.
He has nothing to fear if he has done nothing wrong. That's what he and his supporters say, right?
JD Vance had this too. You can't even get up onto the street where his house is when he's home now, because he's so scared of protestors in front of his house that he's had the Secret Service lock the entire street down just to feel safe.

I’m struck by what a giant load of bullshit this is and how Flock (and copycat companies like Axion) are just facilitating the sort of police state that would be required to make something like Project 2025 possible.

Ben Franklin was very progressive for his time. He owned a few slaves early in his life, but soon freed them and spent the rest of his life as one of that time period's most outspoken critics of slavery. He even bought a printing press so he could spread anti-slavery rhetoric more effectively.

Side note: Axon is the older of the two companies, and has been making police body cams for over 30 years
I think most of us are on-board with police body cameras. The fundamental difference is that they are recording things in the presence of the police, and that they have the measurable benefit of holding the police accountable to their actions (sometimes).

Set up cameras around his house, not pointing directly at his house. Then make some software to guess when he is home or not and what vehicle he left in. Then sell that data to anyone for a cent. Include wi-fi and bluetooth tracking too.

They broke the social contract, for me it should be.
It's on world so probably not, there's a couple of instances that are more willing to allow it for egregious assholes though.

Axon is formally known as TASER. They're part of the reason behind the militarization of our police
Apparently Axon doesn't have the same national network. So a cop in Texas can't track his ex or a woman going for an abortion in Oklahoma.
I still don't like having ALPR type cameras all over town, though.
