How so? Because there's going to be 10x more slop out there, none of it labeled as slop. And every safe space you have now will be invaded by slop pretending to be made by real people.
The cool thing is, once it's shown there is no market for abstract, disjointed, unhuman stories, everyone who is trying to push and normalize this will move on to the next carcass and try to feed or go back to selling stars or whatever.

Worst case scenario, I'll just decide on a cutoff date (probably somewhere between 2021 and 2029) and focus on stuff created before that date, which will contain almost all of the man-made media and none of the genAI slop.
There is a ton of really cool stuff I heard about for me to go through anyway. Video games alone should last me well past the Hayflick limit (hard limit for a human lifetime unless radical life extension breakthroughs happen). To say nothing of movies/anime, books/comics/manga, crafts, causes, etc...
