This is nothing new. Liberals have always done this throughout history. They put all the blame on individuals to cover up the root cause of these constantly reoccuring wars and genocides.

Of course it's Netanyahu's fault! Israel was a much nicer state when its prime minister was the founder of the terrorist group Irgun, or the leader of the terrorist group Lehi. It's just one bad apple, not the whole tree that is rotten! /s
When you thought Netanyahu is the problem, but then check other Israeli political parties, and turns out he's among the least extreme. And has better approval ratings than Hitler had towards the end of the war.
Even Gadi Eisenkot - Israel's most likely next prime minister, whose party is apparently centrist - says any plans of a two-state solution are, quote, 'delusions', and openly supports the so-called settlers.
The more you learn about Israel, the better you'll see there's no hope for it.
Not only Netanyahu, there is also the Zionist parties and the opression of all not-zionist media in Israel. A hugh part of the population are not even aware of the genocide. Same as in the US 30% still vote for Trump, because they are in a bubble from mass media like FOX News. The problem is always the ignorance and fears created by certain colectives in own benefits. Dictatorships and faschism wouldn't work with an educated and correct informed population.
