One of the paths that AI kills us all, is rooted in this mindset. leading to more concentration of wealth and power, increased corruption/suspension of democracy, and a lack of demand of slaves, and lack of supply of slaves capable of paying oligarchy for the privilege of learning how to serve them better.

The lack of employment driven income, is certain to cause a housing value crisis, which is a fractional banking crisis. The oligarchy/empire is forced into the binary choice of UBI redistribution of their power vs. bailing out the bankster oligarchy and using some of those autonomous weapons made with AI (government blacklisted the best model over not having the privilege to develop these, but fortunately competitors stepped in) to exterminate at least the slaves unable to buy oligarchist protection.

Having the binary choice implies a financial survival/capacity of nation to do anything. While financial incapacity is better than genocide (spoiler that is the binary choice that would be taken), there is still massive hardships to everyone used to the economic convenience of the system, and resulting mad max chaos and starvation brings issues too.

I was an unpaid intern for 6 months to become a paid intern then a year later got fully hired. I see unpaid internships but not making someone pay to be an intern because then what work are they going to do? Local government and local non profits are the best to cold email and ask to speak to a person.
