I can really do this with my boss. He is so disorganized and bad with time management that he misses things in slack all the time. So I can just say I missed that message... are you sure you sent it. And he really doesn't know if he did.

I just quietly did my job to the best of my ability while watching him chase after a co-worker. This got back to her husband, who called the company and made some very specific threats, which caused both of them to get canned. His wife then found out.
