Apparently the archive's crawlers have been able to access material that is paywalled in a regular browser and that's got copyright holders' panties in a bunch.

Apparently the archive's crawlers have been able to access material that is paywalled in a regular browser and that's got copyright holders' panties in a bunch.
Specifically, in order to protect paywalls, not because Archive.Today did anything nefarious.
Because freedom is not profitable.
