Why even bother with them anymore? I recently tried to use their site to check how bad prices had gotten at my local McDonald's, but it turns out they won't even let you check prices without the app. Last time we went in 2021 it was $30 for two, so I assume it's even more expensive with the way inflation is going. No thanks.
McDonalds is kinda like cigarettes: expensive and bad for you. I can't afford a habit like that

I quit accidentally, it was covid and I was too lazy to get dressed and go outside to smoke. I doubt I’ll start again because they’re so pricy here. Besides, weed is cheaper and makes me feel all funny. I’ll take wacky tobacky any day.
For those of you posting that it won't affect you for various reasons, it will eventually if we allow this behaviour to continue. Right now, it's McDonald's. Next, it'll be grocery stores, gas stations, and everything else. Delta airlines said that they were doing this, too. I heard that they later backed down after consumer backlash. I heard that Whole Foods is considering something similar (surge pricing).
Write to McDonald's, preferably in a public forum. Boycotts are great, drawing the attention of others is better. Write to your local representatives, especially if they're up for reelection this fall.
Good, I’ll continue to dynamically give them my business. And by dynamic I mean anywhere between not touching with a ten-foot pole and avoiding like the plague.
I McDo enjoy me some good burgers. Particularly when I they‘re McNot from McDonald‘s.

I'm just using my brain to avoid their business. I used to go there every once in a while, but it's just not woth it at all. Its not great food, its too expensive, and worst of all, its slow. 90% chance they wouldn't have the food ready when I pulled up and I had to wait 5 minutes in a spot for my food. They have clearly lost the loot as to what made them popular.

i still go there maybe once a month, but i always have a buy 1-get 1 coupon. that at least gets the price down close to ~ 2019's.
