That was a reaction to another round of sanctions they just implemented against Russia.
But sure, sell it like another unprovoked Russian escalation.
And 'let them be scared'?

and they're going to get a lot of people killed and cause a lot of misery -- but i guess that's what europe is really good at doing.

Its fine. Europe deserves some of its own pain after delivering it to the third world for so long.
