I still can't get over that windows boxes can't have more than 23 drives connected, excluding C. Just absolutely hilarious ineptitude. Similarly the case insensitive filesystem makes it so the vast majority of file operations don't work [in all cases like they should].

don't forget the invisible pseudo-files that follow you around the tree in case you need to print something from a dos program

You can only boot from the C Drive these days because a modern BIOS AI has such a small model it can only read at a first grade level. The first commands it understands are C Drive "the discovery command", C Drive Run "initial boot", Run Drive Run "OS handover".
