Idiots are just following Harper's playbook. "Cut costs by reducing services"...without telling you that reducing services also reduces revenue. And they'll never make money to maintain necessary services, as long as they keep outsourcing everything to private contractors.

It's a downward spiral towards total privatization.

For years I thought the workers at the Shoppers locations were employed by Canada Post. Not so. It's all Loblaw. My social circle was also surprised when I told them.

They keep referring to CanadaPost as a “business” and not as a service, and it fundamentally misinforms people about how it should operate. All services cost money. It’s not “loss”, it is the cost of providing a public service.
