In case anyone else is wondering about the awkward part, owners of news outlets are donating to the project. Washington Post has a pro-project take on it apparently too.

Credit to the indentured team if they can find a way to spin that turkey into a pro-project stance. They must need silkwood-style showers when they get home, these days.
