Excellent comparison! I just fear that the GOP will always be more unscrupulous than the Dems, and so will ultimately always be OK with gerrymandering (or deep fakes, or what have you).

We've been warning about this for years. Now it's too late, especially because the people in power have a vested interest in NOT policing deepfakes.
