That's interesting that that's what you took away from what I said. I'm not an apologist. Eternal suffering is what religious zealots believe wrongdoers deserve and I think lasting punishment is fuel rather than a deterrent. Do you think someone who had their testicles chopped off is going to find a consensual partner later in life? Or do you think they will have to resort to more SA to get laid?

A charge is not conviction. Also false convictions happen all the time. Castrating a man, guilty or not, is a punishment unfit for crime, as with physical mutilation or any kind or capital punishment. These sorts of punishments also leave zero room for rehabilitation as the punishment is permanent suffering.
