It’s interesting to hear about someone having a similar experience due to a brain injury. I have always wondered if my inability to internalize thoughts was some kind of developmental thing; if I don’t speak them or write them down then they’re really scattered and sorta incoherent.

Probably different for everyone, but I have neither and sometimes feel almost compelled to speak my thoughts out loud. If I don’t speak them they’re just kind of abstract feelings or impressions.
Also the longer they make the article the more places for ads. Most websites are cool about this and add a “jump to recipe” button, but many don’t so they can get more ad revenue.
Centrist Democrats seem to have a compulsive need to virtue signal at every opportunity. They don’t have good policy so they have to prove their moral superiority, which might have worked a decade ago, but just makes them look spineless now.
I’ve always heard platonic attraction as a strong desire to form a deep platonic connection with a specific person. It’s wanting to be close with a person and form a deep bond, but no sexual or physical connection.
I think you’re just describing finding a person attractive vs being attracted to a person. I haven’t heard a term for it before.
The calls for Silwa to drop out are so desperate. Asking the opposing party to just butt out of the race so the two Democrats can duke it out is just insane.
I despise this website. It is so wildly misleading, especially since most of the graphs don’t actually radically change until the 80s. There is no one thing that caused everything/could fix everything, it was a lot of policy changes and deregulation through the 70s and 80s.
Nazi Germany built it’s war economy on the backs of slaves. Jews, and political dissidents didn’t all go straight to the death camps; many went to slave labor facilities/camps until the conditions broke them and they were no longer useful.
So maybe not individual slave ownership, but mass state run slave labor absolutely. The end stage fascist economy can’t exist without it.
Would not be surprised if they're more full of people willing to work for free than other sectors, though, as racist hate is a strong motivator.
A strong motivator it may be, but it doesn’t pay the bills. I have a feeling a lot of the new recruits aren’t the most financially savvy bunch and won’t be able to sustain missing multiple paychecks. If the Democrats stick to their guns for a while we’ll probably see a lot of ICE agents going broke and quitting.
He was asked why that airline and he specifically said it wasn’t to do with the airline, just that that particular flight suited his needs. He did say “it’s just because I have a grudge”, but he didn’t say what it was.
I also agree he died, mostly because they never found the money in circulation. None of the serial numbers they gave him were ever identified. So it seems he either never spent a cent of it, or he didn’t survive the jump.
