What ways do you use meshtastic? Did you setup any friends or family with terminals? It's kinda just like a group text right?

I've been thinking about setting one up myself but I'm not sure what I'd do with it. Im not sure I could convince anyone to use it even if I gifted them a radio. And I get enough of hams just chatting about their gear on HF...

moved from truenas core to scale a month or two ago, and it's been a struggle. anyone else having issues running a truenas scale VM under proxmox? in c/selfhosted@lemmy.world

I've had a good experience with TrueNAS scale on bare metal and proxmox in a VM. I don't have a lot of heavy weight stuff on proxmox though, mainly LXC containers and a few VMs. I also have a VM in TrueNAS for jellyfin that I pass a GPU into. It's been running that way for several years without issue.
