What makes you think I don’t want to. Anyone who is sucking down air should be wanting to intervene.
There are plenty of people who wouldn't wish to run a campaign and risk their own lives or the lives of their families to MAGA nutcases.
Not everyone has the capability and support to actually do it. I certainly don’t. Stewart does.
And therein lies my issue with celebrities running for office - money and power.
If he knew two years ago what he knows today, I have no doubt that he would have stepped up.
If he is truly the talented political thinker that you think he is, he already saw this coming. There were multiple progressive YouTube shows/podcasts that made this exact warning in 2020 because trump was just the symptom and we never addressed the underlying problems. Jon knew this as well, but chose not to step up.
Dems too busy watching the stock ticker
Ok, so you be the change you want to see.
You don't want to? Well, that's how Jon probably feels.
I like Jon but don't believe celebrities should run for office. He's also repeatedly said he has no interest in years past, so this is just a pipe dream for liberals.
Oh yeah cause any critic is a Russian spy.
Slow down on the koolaid, bud.
Zelensky is actively censoring Ukraninan journalists from reporting any criticism on the war. Is this what you mean by comedians being good at making people agree with them?

Scott Kelly and Mark Kelly (twins, both were Navy Captains, both were Astronauts, one is now a Senator from Arizona) would be good, but they aren’t progressive enough.
The most generic democrats you could support
LoL buddy as I said Obama/DNC conspired to limit the field of candidates and effectively decidedly the election. The votes didn't matter at that point. If you can't understand that, I can't help you.
What the hell does the length of an article matter? I pointed to a legitimate source supporting my point.
Buddy, you're a fucking idiot.
And where did I do that?
It's another example of American exceptionalism. In Europe he's a dime a dozen.
Pretty much agree with everything that you've said. The goal is to motivate the base and to galvanize a new wave of voters. You can't achieve that if you don't provide anything substantive.
