Dane County Sheriff Kalvin Barrett said that 300 to 400 people were "violently trying to break in" to the Ridglan Farms facility.

TLDR: An activist movement yesterday in Dane County, Wyoming, to release the hounds held in an animal testing facility went out one day early, but found the law enforcement there waiting for them with tear gas and rubber bullets. Unfortunately the dogs were downwind of the gas and could be heard howling in pain, according to participants.

Dane County Sheriff Kalvin Barrett gives an interview defending their use of force claiming the crowd was a threat to the law enforcement, the workers at the facility, and the "property of a private business".
